If we had started our family right after we got married, I’d have kids starting Sophomore year too. LOL! We waited 5 years to have kids so I’ll be one of those “older parents” when my kids are in HS – esp Dan. LOL!

I run/walk on a treadmill which makes it easier as far as kids go. It’s also easier for me to keep track of my time/mileage. I could get one of those NIke shoe monitor things but just haven’t. So I stay inside even in the summer. Although… I *could* workout right after I drop Dan off… but then it interferes with my “free” time. LOL!

I have one starting kindergarten this year also. Don’t look for photos on my blog or in a scrapbook anytime soon – it’s my newest foster daughter. I do have one starting his 3rd year of preschool – watch for those pictures and one starting 2nd grade! Can I deny the fact that I also have one starting his Sophomore year of high school?!?

Hmm… maybe the two of us should motivate each other on the running front. I pretty much had to give up for the summer – too many kids and couldn’t take them with me and no sitter. Once school starts – just the two babies and I have a double running stroller!! So excited! Definitely going for a walk after that last kid gets on their bus on the first day!!

Congrats on getting out there even when you didn’t feel like it. That’s half the battle! I’m a runner (not fast, mind you, but steady. My advice, is to make a goal for yourself whether it’s to run a 5K in 3 months or enter a walking race. That’s what always keeps me going. I need to have a goal in mind. Keep up the good work!! Love your posts.

It is wonderful to have you at DSO Jen. Your first kit in store is to die for! the papers are stunning, I also loved the card Bunny made with them a few weeks back. Great colours.
