Week 1: Monday: Cool Running
Last week Nancie Rowe-Janitz posted on Facebook about the Cool Running Couch-to-5k program. I had actually started something similar (running/walking) a few months ago but fell off the wagon. I’m re-dedicating myself to getting back on the wagon with a regular fitness routine. Going to try and log my results every M-W-F to hold myself more accountable. We’ll see how it goes. LOL!
Day 1: 20 minutes – 5 min warm-up / 60 jogging / 90 walking
I also picked up
The ChiRunning book was mentioned as well. I tend to get shin-splints when I do a lot of walking so I’m hoping something in these books might help with that.
